Breaking Up with Sugar!

How does your body feel at this very moment? Do you feel energized, cleaned out and skinny…OR lethargic, bloated and fat?? My guess is that most of us on a daily basis feel the latter and wish we didn’t feel so sick. SO, what to do about this?? Is there a solution?  YES!!! BREAK UP with SUGAR!!!

Yep, you read that right–it’s time to break up the love affair with sugar. It’s killing you– literally! Not just in how you feel, but how it damages your body.  Cut out the added sugar and you’ll feel like a new person.  The excess sugar we consume daily can lead to diabetes, fatty liver disease, obesity and a host of other problems.  So, why do we continue to crave that white stuff?  Are we as Americans addicted to sugar?  Check out this fantastic article for some helpful tips to cut out and cut back on added sugar.

I have to admit that this January challenge is the best thing and I feel SO much better.  No more sugar cravings because my body is off the “drug” and it’s no longer an option.  I keep fresh fruits stocked in my frig (pineapple, mango, grapes, etc.) so when I have a sugar craving, that’s where I turn.  Also, my night time protein shake is a lifesaver.  Instead of a piece of chocolate, I drink my chocolate shake 🙂
Say goodbye to the added/processed sugar and Eat REAL food that’s full of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants-foods that will love you back:)   Why not use food to your advantage–feel better, look better and have more energy and greater focus.  Especially this month, I can feel the difference. If you’re along in the January challenge, I hope you feel the difference already too! Take a stand to lower or cut out added sugar. You’re the only one who can make this change for yourself. In just a couple months, when the bathing suits come out, you will be glad you did!
